Sailing French Polynesia: Raiatea, Taha’a & Bora Bora

The route sails from Raiatea through Taha’a to Bora Bora. Japan runs at two speeds, and in sakura season you feel both. Tokyo first – Shibuya crossing at night, the city at full volume, and cherry blossom along the canals in the morning. Then the Shinkansen south, with Fuji through the window. Kyoto slows everything down: the bamboo grove, the Golden Pavilion, a thousand torii gates, and a night in a ryokan – sleeping on tatami with an onsen before dinner. Osaka closes it: the food capital of Japan, and a final day of unforgettable entertainment at Universal Studios.

Mauritius & Madagascar: Lagoon Days, Lemur Mornings

Two countries that could not be less alike, and go together perfectly. Mauritius first: turquoise water, the island’s finest beaches, and days with nowhere to be. Then a short flight into a completely different world – wild Madagascar. Lemurs live here and nowhere else on earth, and this is the only place where they will come to breakfast with you, right to your table.
